Library Orientation Flips the Tables

One of the best resources that high school students have at their fingertips is our amazing library. This year, the librarians flipped the tables on the new high school students for their orientation. Instead of being told what is where in a lecture that would soon be forgotten, students were challenged to discover different resources in the library and then present to their classmates.

New Student Library/Tech Orientation

A few days before school began all our new students came to the library for their library/tech orientation. The students were given scenarios related to our AUP (Acceptable Use Policy). Working together in groups they came up with solutions for the questions/issues in the scenarios.
